I am proud to represent the residents of the First Supervisorial District on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. 

San Diego County Supervisor Nora Vargas will join the California Air Resources Board, as part of a slate of new appointments by Gov. Gavin Newsom.Vargas, 50, was elected to the board of supervisors in 2020 and took the seat in District 1 last year, representing southern San Diego, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and National City.

This dynamic region of San Diego County/Tijuana includes our businesses, the workforce and families that are interdependent socially and economically on both sides of the border.
