As the Press Secretary for Chairwoman Nora Vargas, Meghan Breen supports the implementation of media, public relations, and communications strategies for the Chairwoman’s office. 

An Emmy Award-nominated journalist, Meghan established her career covering local politics in the Reno/Tahoe area. Meghan also has experience working at public relations firms across the West Coast, representing clients in the travel and hospitality industry.  

With more than seven years of experience in the communications field, Meghan brings extensive knowledge of the local media landscape to the team and a true passion for community impact. She is committed to keeping the San Diego community informed and engaged with the legislative process.
