José Daniel López is a dynamic and versatile professional with a passion for storytelling and a keen understanding of effective communication.

José earned a Master of Arts in International Journalism from Cardiff University in Wales, Great Britain, in 2014. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Radio TV and Film at California State University, Fullerton, in 2010.

José brought his journalistic skills to teleSUR - La Nueva Televisión del Sur C.A. in 2017. Working in both Quito, Ecuador, and Caracas, Venezuela, José played multiple roles, serving as a news anchor, and editor, while also crafting news articles about political and social movements in Latin America and the Global South.

In 2015, he also held a pivotal role as the Press and Public Relations Coordinator at the National Secretary of Communication in Quito, Ecuador. His responsibilities included the management and coordination of interviews and press conferences for the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa.
