Paola Aguirre 
Community Representative 



Paola was born and raised in Riverside, California.  Her career has seen her serve in various capacities as a civil servant, with experience spanning both San Diego and Riverside County. Within this time, she held key positions as a youth leader in the non-profit sector, the University of California Riverside, and the Riverside County Board of Supervisor's Youth Commission.


In 2017, Paola's path led her to San Diego, where she embarked on her academic journey at the University of California San Diego - John Muir College. At UC San Diego, Paola earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science. Her academic pursuits also encompassed a double major, resulting in a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies - International Business from the International Studies Program and Rady School of Management. Today, Paola is thrilled to be part of Chairwoman Nora Vargas's Office, where she serves District 1 as a Community Representative in the City of San Diego. Her responsibilities also include managing District 1 Constituent Services and overseeing the Young Supervisors' Academy.
