Natalie Aguilar is a first-generation college graduate pursuing a Master of International Affairs at UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, specializing in international environmental governance, with a regional focus in Latin America. She is passionate about how energy and environmental justice policy is applied to confront global development issues. Through her studies, Natalie has gained experience in business development with a global development managing consulting firm, Social Impact, and event planning at the Center for Commerce and Diplomacy at the School of Global Policy and Strategy.
Before joining Chairwoman Vargas in the County of San Diego, Natalie graduated in June 2021 from the University of California, Irvine, and earned her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies. Throughout her undergraduate experience, she performed extensive research on topics such as gender and transnational experiences.
