NORA VARGAS

Mia was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She received her B.A. in Gerontology and a minor in Public Health from San Diego State University. She was part of the Social Work for People of Color Coalition, Social Action Committee, and Intergenerational Gerontology Association. She is currently getting a certificate for grant writing from San Diego State University.  

She is passionate about health policy and giving back to her community.
